FREED’s transportation voucher program, serving Yuba and Sutter Counties, provides seniors with discounted rides on the Yuba-Sutter Transit Dial a Ride. This program is funded through the Agency on Aging Area 4, so is senior specific.
If you are interested in helping us organize for improved access to transportation through advocacy, FREED is involved with city and county processes to push for accessibility and expanded transportation options for our rural counties. Volunteers help us with prioritizing and surveying infrastructure to push for prioritizing ADA repairs. Give us a call if you are interested in being part of this movement!
