  • ADAPT – a national grass-roots community that organizes disability rights activists to engage in nonviolent direct action, including civil disobedience.
  • Disability Rights California – Mission is to advance the rights of Californians with disabilities. This organization also provides the Client Assistance Program, which helps people resolve issues with the Department of Rehabilitation and provides a Grievance Procedure for consumers of DOR and ILC services.
  • Not Dead Yet is a national, grassroots disability rights group that opposes legalization of assisted suicide and euthanasia as deadly forms of discrimination against old, ill and disabled people.
  • Disability Rights Education and Defense (DREDF) is a  national disability rights law and policy center that advances the civil and human rights of people with disabilities.
